Well, I'm back with a new book. It is...( drum roll please)
Skary Childrin and the Carousel of Sorrow by Katy Towell
Rating: Five Stars
Skary Childrin is really creepy what with man eating carousels, disappearances, and a barfed up child. I had to stop reading it for one night to prepare myself for the ultra creepy grand finale. It was really great, and I think this is a series so I'll look out for more books.
The main characters are Adelaide Foss, Maggie Borland,Steffen Weller, and Beatrice Alfred. Adelaide has a strong resemblance to a wolf, with her long fingers and ears ( not to mention her acute sense of smell and hearing). Maggie is very grumpy, sarcastic, and strong. There are rumours that she once threw a teacher out of a window. Beatrice is only 7 years old, and can see ghosts. She even has a spirit mouse named Philip, who she keeps in her pocket.Steffen Weller is a cook's son who helps the girls thorough the mystery.
One day, two newcomers arrive. One is a librarian, and another is cheerful man who loves to sell delicious candy. The day afterword, people began disappearing. Can three "Scary Children" and a misfit boy save the town of Windowsbury?
That wraps up this blog, and check back soon!
PS Look out for the picture on Chapter 3
